Employers: Our Placement activities make it easy for the Montreal employer to find the right candidate for their company. We provide individual screening interviews, CV’s which are clear and concise, referrals of qualified candidate to job mandates, participation in recruiting and networking events, seminars, “speed –hire” recruiting breakfasts and job fairs.

Job seekers: Our employability programming includes skills assessment, employment counselling and career counselling, workshops and/or individual attention on how to create an effective CV to best market oneself to a prospective employer, aid in preparation of an action plan, language courses, computer learning programs, job related workshops and networking events. Placement and Employability Enhancement Programs

If you are, or are looking for someone who is trained, experienced and hardworking, this program is designed for you.

Program for Professionals

For ages 18 – 44, JEM focuses on Jewish Community Youth Retention in Montreal. Jobseekers who are considered to be non- recent (within five years) university graduates, or non- university graduates may access employability training and placement activities.

The New Canadian Dossier provides a comprehensive and specialized program for recent arrivals to Montreal. Benefit from international expertise and global thinking by hiring from this group of highly educated and experienced newcomers from Latin America, France ,Israel and the Former Soviet Union.

The Supported Employment Program integrates the slightly emotionally and/or intellectually challenged individual into your workforce. Our specialized job counselors evaluate your needs and then assess, counsel and match the appropriate individual to your hiring needs. Professional job coaches accompany the new employee to your site to coach him/her to ensure assigned tasks are mastered quickly and efficiently. Ongoing support is provided as needed.
