Employing an impressive 80-plus workers, the JEM Workshop Inc. is a non- profit adapted work centre for the emotionally and intellectually challenged. From a work-oriented facility, these select experienced workers provide packaging and light assembly services at very competitive prices.
In-house professionals provide supportive counselling, while the production team ensures the meeting of deadlines and assurance of quality control. Recognized as a Centre de Travail Adapté (CTA) by the Office des personnes handicappées du Québec, the JEM Workshop Inc. is essential to bringing functionality and self-esteem to those that need it the most.
From various kinds of packaging to light assembly, from labeling to sorting and stuffing, manufacturers and distributors use the JEM Workshop Inc. Canadian Technical Tape, Grand Toy Inc. and Marcelle Cosmetics are just some of the companies that have benefited from the tremendous work done at the JEM Workshop Inc.

Our goal is to raise $3 million dollars to renovate our Workshop and to create an endowment fund to secure the future of our programs and services.
Why? We have potential workers on a waiting-list eager to be hired and we must respond to this need. And we need to upgrade the infrastructure of the entire building by installing an elevator for our workers to access the second floor, by creating handicapped-accessible facilities as well as by expanding our production area.
